11-year-old Quinn has cystic fibrosis. She thought she was going to look at cars with her family, but was surprised by family, friends, and community members, plus Make-A-WishĀ® and Subaru partners, with a party to celebrate the granting of her wish to go to Hawaii. Subaru of Cherry Hill, in partnership with Make-A-Wish New Jersey, hosted the send-off party for Quinn filled with her favorite things, like a Kona Ice truck and fire dancer, plus exciting gifts for her trip. Approximately 27,000 children are diagnosed with a critical illness each year, and research shows that a wish can lead to better health outcomes and a higher chance of survival. Through the annual Subaru Share the Love Event, more than 600 Subaru retailers across the country partner with Make-A-Wish to help support children and families impacted by critical illnesses, transforming lives one wish at a time for children like Quinn.
