    Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, and the optimized traction of available X-MODE® all work together in the 2026 Outback to tackle bad weather and rough roads. A choice of SUBARU BOXER engines let you prioritize fuel efficiency or enjoy up to 260 turbocharged horsepower. EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology is upgraded for 2026 with features like available Hands-Free Driving Assist for less driver fatigue at highway speeds and is able to automatically slow down as it approaches curves. Emergency Stop Assist with Safe Lane Selection is also available to pull the Outback over and stop if the driver becomes unresponsive. Lane Change Assist, another new feature, checks if a merge is safe when the turn signal is activated during hands-free driving and then can execute lane changes automatically.

    The 2026 Outback pushes its trademark practical style even further with a bold, upright silhouette; new grille design; and a powerful stance finished with newly available 19-inch wheels. Inside there’s a sleek, modern digital gauge cluster and a new 12.1-inch touchscreen, plus available features including leather-trimmed upholstery, a power tilt/sliding moonroof, and heated front and rear outboard seats. There’s also more cargo space for 2026 so you can bring more gear to take on even bigger adventures.
