Standard dual-function X-MODE with Grip Control and settings for Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud lets you choose the perfect traction setting to match conditions for enhanced stability and control, even on uneven terrain and low-traction surfaces. It’s everything you need in an electric off-road SUV.

    Subaru StarDrive® with Driving Mode Select and S-Pedal

    Subaru StarDrive offers an enhanced driving experience through Driving Mode Select, which lets you choose from Normal Mode for typical trips, Eco Mode to conserve battery power, and an extra-responsive Power Mode. This advanced system is engineered with the latest breakthroughs in electric vehicle technology to deliver substantial on-demand torque at all speeds for exciting everyday driving. Steering-wheel-mounted paddles give the ability to dial in your preferred level of regenerative braking, while S-Pedal Drive adds even more braking to help reduce the fatigue of switching between gas and brake pedals.

  • Traffic Jam Assist is available to help make traveling through congestion safer and easier by providing hands-free steering assistance with driver supervision in low-speed traffic jams (up to 25 MPH) on most major highways. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist can take some of the stress out of driving by helping with steering, braking, and throttle control — both in daily traffic and on long road trips.

    Charging the 2025 Solterra is quick and convenient, whether you’re commuting to the office, out running errands, or starting the next leg of your adventure. The Solterra can charge from 10% to 80% in about 35 minutes using its built-in fast-charge capability. When the temperature drops — even below freezing — the cold-weather-optimized charging technology in the Solterra can compensate to deliver a quick charge so you’re ready for more winter fun. The StarDrive powertrain gives Solterra an EPA-estimated range of up to 227 miles with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as well as a variety of options for fast and convenient charging, both at home and on the go. The Solterra comes with a charger that works with any standard 120V outlet for Level 1 charging. You can also have a 240V Level 2 charger installed at home so you can plug in overnight and wake up each morning with a full charge.
